Who we are

Euroavia Srl was established in February 1994 with the aim of filling an obvious gap in the aeronautical maintenance and assistance services sector. The location initially chosen for essentially logistical reasons (the availability of a suitable warehouse located within an airport area) was that of Carpi Airport (MO).

With the increase of the activity and the services offered (from the simple maintenance of aircraft we have gradually passed to the more specialized one of rotating groups with authorization to issue a JAA Form One certificate, painting of aircraft, as well as the processing and construction of both modifications and structural repairs) the need arose to transfer production to a structure with greater capacity and located on an airport that could also allow the landing and take-off of aircraft with superior characteristics. The choice fell on the "F. Bonazzi "of Reggio Emilia, a historic aerodrome with prestigious aeronautical traditions dating back to the Second World War, also thanks to the firm motivation of the management of the Reggio Emilia Airport Management Company to boost local activity through the creation of essential logistic structures.

The Euroavia technicians make up a highly specialized team that can boast many years of experience in the sector gained both in the civil field and in the armed forces, experience further strengthened by the execution of specific training and refresher courses on the various types of aircraft for which the company is authorized to operate. A further objective pursued is also to make the qualifications of the staff as interchangeable and complementary as possible, thus being able to continuously dispose of a workforce as flexible and suitable for any intervention required.

The company staff now has 20 units divided into the maintenance, technical office, logistic, quality management, administration sectors, in addition to a further 6 specialized collaborators in the field of peculiar activities such as: non-destrucive inspection, structural repairs, painting, upholstery and electro-avionics works. .

Euroavia has 2 prefabricated hangars for a total of approx. 1500 located on Reggio Emilia Airport with an adjoining aircraft movement area of 30,000 square meters.

Hangars, built in compliance with all applicable laws, can allow 15/17 aircraft to be sheltered for maintenance at the same time (depending on the type); and equipped with all the facilities and equipment necessary to guarantee the highest standard of work quality required by current legislation.

Since its establishment, Euroavia operates for different types of aircraft users such as Aero Clubs, Private Operators, Air And Passenger Transport Companies, State aircraft belonging to the Ministries of the Interior and Defense, as well as maintenance interventions in Italy and abroad on behalf of Leonardo Helicopter Division.

Euroavia hold EASA Part 145 Certificate of Approval n. IT.145.0098, EASA Part M n. IT.MG.1047 and according to the AER (EP) .P.145 standard issued by the Ministry of Defense - Directorate of Aeronautical Armaments and Airworthiness (Armaereo) n.017 for maintenance operations up to the maximum level on fixed-wing aircraft and rotary wing, engines and rotary groups.

The company has the Certificate of Approval No. 50 100 15126 according to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard and the Certificate of Approval No. 50 100 15125 according to the UNI EN ISO 9110: 2018 standard, both issued by TUV. Certification is maintained in force through the implementation of a Quality System that monitors and manages company procedures in accordance with the applicable regulatory standards.

Current product lines is Leonardo (Agusta) and Bell ones for rotary-wings  together with the Cessna for fixed-wings product. This choice - in addition to market demands - was dictated by the firm will to pursue and reach a high level of specialization and knowledge of the product, especially as regards the Leonardo Helicopter Division production line to which Euroavia has been linked since its establishment.
